First Dental Cleaning
Yep... so last Thursday I had my first dental cleaning since surgery. It was difficult with the braces... but I felt good knowing that my teeth were getting some TLC! I can't wait to have another after my braces come off. I'm worried that the braces may not be coming off as soon as he said they would... how long does it take to close two slight spaces??

My ortho has closed a gap while I'm there just by tightening the wire. I can't wait to get my teeth cleaned, but it won't be until October. Hopefully, its okay to use my Waterpik again!
Same here. I've had a few gaps to close. I can hardly remember complaining about them because they were closed so fast! If the gaps are small, it shouldn't take too long. =)
I am so scared for my first teeth cleaning... scared I won't be able to open my mouth wide enough!! (stretching as we speak!)
My told me most gaps move about 1mm/month. Sometimes it does seem like they move by tightening the wire. Hmm. Your teeth looked great in your last picture...can you believe you're almost through with braces? Wow. :)
